SOME INFORMATIONS ABOUT US:

The Mechatronics and Mechanical Dynamics Lab operates within the Engineering and Applied Sciences department at the University of Bergamo, Italy. The lab is active in the macro areas of mechatronics systems design and mechanical dynamic analysis. The main objectives of the research group include advanced motion control for robotic and industrial applications, high performance hydraulic actuators, vibration analysis, parallel kinematics robots, force control, kinesthetic haptic interfaces, robotic teleoperation, vision systems, augmented reality. The presence of different areas of interest has allowed the research group to develop and consolidate transversal and integrated skills that let it address complex issues in the most varied scenarios.

The laboratory also performs service activities for companies.
Services to companies mainly concern:
  • Mechatronic design of devices and high-speed automatic machines level of automation also with the aid of robotic systems;
  • Functional design of automatic machines;
  • Dynamic and vibration analysis of mechanical systems;
  • Design of measurement chains tailored to specific applications, measurement execution and data analysis.
  • Design of drive systems with electric, pneumatic technology and hydraulics with reference to the sizing of the actuators, the transmission, control system and dynamic modeling of the same.
